Sandra Grandinetti
Sandra Grandinetti is an educator and financial services professional with more than two decades of combined experience in public education and banking. Since 2013, she has served as a public school teacher, bringing firsthand insight into the transformative power of education and the real-world challenges students face.

Prior to her career in education, Sandra spent 12 years as a Vice President in Branch Banking at Citibank, where she led teams, managed financial operations, and supported clients through strategic financial planning and relationship-based service.

Sandra’s unique background bridges education and finance, enabling her to contribute a practical, mission-driven perspective to board leadership. She is known for her collaborative approach, fiscal responsibility, and ability to translate complex systems into practical, people-centered solutions.

Motivated by a deep belief in expanding access to opportunity through education and financial literacy, Sandra joined the Board of Directors at Dollars To Scholars in 2026. Notably, she was the third-grade teacher of co-founder Sylvester J. Pecora III, where she recognized early his empathy, leadership, and capacity to make a meaningful impact on others. That early connection continues to inspire her support of the organization’s mission to equip students with the financial knowledge needed to build confidence, independence, and long-term growth..
