Lauren Pecora

Lauren works closely with nonprofits to identify new funding opportunities and develop thoughtful, mission-driven fundraising strategies. She serves as Advancement Associate at Saint Ignatius School in the South Bronx, where she plays a key role in donor engagement, event coordination, and strategic fundraising to support educational access and opportunity.

A graduate of Fordham University, Lauren holds a BA in International Studies and Theology. Her background in Campus Ministry and community-based work in the Bronx reflects a longstanding commitment to social justice, service, and expanding access to education. These experiences continue to shape her approach to fundraising as a tool for equity and impact.

In her role on the Board of Directors at Dollars to Scholars, Lauren is excited to support efforts that equip young people with the financial knowledge and confidence to shape their futures. Outside of her work, she enjoys reading with her morning coffee, playing guitar, and spending time with her family.
