Sylvester J. Pecora Jr.

Sylvester J. Pecora, Jr, is a Co-Owner of Pecora Brothers, Inc, Greenwich Investment Group, Inc and Greenwich Properties Inc., whose primary focus is the construction, development and ownership of investment properties.  

 

He has more than 30 years of experience overseeing all new construction projects and renovations as well as strategic management and ownership of various investment companies.  Over the past three decades, Sylvester has completed over 150 residential construction projects. Additionally, Pecora Brothers has provided Owners Representative and Consulting Services for a range of commercial projects and educational facilities from $5 million to $100 million each and totaling approximately $170 million worth of construction.  Performing in the role of Construction Manager, Pecora Brothers completed construction totaling approximately $200 million on various commercial, institutional and educational facilities and $300 million worth of residential construction.  Projects are in the Fairfield, Westchester County area, Meredith, NH and Narragansett, RI.    

 

For the past 10-13 years Pecora Brothers have been seeking development opportunities and acquiring multiple multifamily homes and mixed-use developments as well as developing 830G residential complexes.

 

Prior to Pecora Brothers/Greenwich Investment Group, Mr. Pecora was a CFO/Controller of Spectrum Group LTD overseeing all financial, investment and tax related aspects of the company.  He managed all financial controls, acquisition analyses and presented deals which focused on Residential developments (HOA’s, Condominiums and golf courses) in New York and Connecticut.  Its projects included Belle Fair in Rye Brook NY, Hidden Falls in Rye Brook NY, Pleasantville Country Club in Pleasantville NY and TPC River Highlands in Cromwell CT. 

 

In May of 2025, Sylvester joined the Board of Directors at Dollars To Scholars, as he wanted to assist in spreading basic financial literacy skills among youth. Motivated by being a father, he wants the best for children and to help proliferate financial literary knowledge. He is the President of the Dollars To Scholars Board of Directors.
